ABAX has been supporting ETJ since its inception and we very much share the goals and the spirit that makes up ETJ. ETJ is a free association for English teachers in Japan that encourages the exchange of information and teaching ideas, provides opportunities for training and professional development and obtains other benefits for all its members.
ETJ Certificate WorkshopsThe ETJ Certificate workshops are run by Oxford University Press and David English House and ABAX is proud to have been a part of this since its inception. The course has been designed to address the needs of teachers in Japan. All ideas derive from classroom research and trial and error experience in various kinds of Japanese teaching situations. |

ETJ ELT ExposThe aim of the ETJ ELT Expos is to provide top-class presentations and materials displays for every kind of English teacher. In 2003 we visited Tokyo, Osaka, Nagoya, Kagoshima, Fukuoka, Hiroshima, Niigata, Sendai and Sapporo. ABAX presented and exhibited at all these events. In 2004 ETJ will hold expos in ten cities across Japan. |
