ELT Career and Professional Development Conference (ECAP) 2011
Sunday, May 29th at the British Council

Welcome to the fifth annual ELT Career and Professional Development Conference - a full day of presentations and workshops of interest to all those teaching English to young adults and adults - junior high school, high school, university, community language schools and so on - a chance to reflect on your own classroom efforts and to share those reflections with others.

This year ECAP has a new format. In place of a third keynote, we're hosting a panel discussion with audience participation on a topic we think of interest to all teachers. Now I'm a Teacher: My Choices Ahead. Six panelists will discuss how they've developed their careers within the teaching field or how they've used their experience as teachers to move on to other career paths and field questions from the audience on their choices.

We hope you will join us at Cambridge University Press, the British Council, Teachers College Columbia University, ABAX and the Daily Yomiuri for a full day on May 29th.
